Antonio Emmanuele Uva, nato a Molfetta (BA), il 18 Marzo 1972. Dal 1 marzo 2002 ricercatore di ruolo per il S.S.D. ING-IND/15 – “Disegno e Metodi dell’Ingegneria Industriale”, in servizio presso il Dipartimento di Disegno Tecnico, Industriale e della Rappresentazione del Politecnico di Bari. 2000 Dottore Di Ricerca in “Progettazione e Costruzione di Macchine” XII ciclo, conseguito in data 7/4/2000, presso l’Università degli studi di Napoli Federico II. Dal 2003 è membro del Centro di Eccellenza in Meccanica Computazionale (CEMeC). Il principale ambito di ricerca riguarda la sperimentazione di nuovi metodi informatici per il Computer Aided Design e la visualizzazione di dati ingegneristici mediante Virtual e Augmented Reality. Fruitore del “Short Period Mobility Program CNR” presso il Center for Image Processing and Integrated Computing (CIPIC), University of California, Davis – USA. 1997-1999: Visiting presso il Center for Image Processing and Integrated Computing (CIPIC), University of California, Davis – USA. 1997:Visiting Researcher presso il Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor – USA. E’ autore di più di 40 pubblicazioni internazionali di cui 9 su rivista internazionale e 3 capitoli di libro. E’ revisore di giornali internazionali come CAD Journal (Elsevier), il Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing (IJIDeM) e conferenze internazionali come Tools and Methods of Competitive Engineering (TMCE) e ASME.

Born in Molfetta (BA), March 18, 1972. From March 1, 2002 faculty researcher in "Technical Drawing Methods for Industrial Design", employed in the Department of Technical Design, Industrial and representation of the Politecnico di Bari. 2000 PhD in " Mechanical Design and Drawing " received on 7/4/2000 at the University of Naples Federico II. Since 2003 he is a member of the Centre of Excellence in Computational Mechanics (CEMeC). The main area of research involves the development and testing of new computer methods for computer-aided design and engineering data visualization using virtual and augmented reality. "Short Period CNR Mobility Program" grant at the Center for Image Processing and Integrated Computing (CIPIC), University of California, Davis - USA. 1997-1999: Visiting Researcher at the Center for Image Processing and Integrated Computing (CIPIC), University of California, Davis - USA. 1997: Visiting Researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor – USA. He is author of more than 40 international publications including 9 international journals and 3 book chapters. And 'review of international newspapers such as CAD Journal (Elsevier), the Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing (IJIDeM) and international conferences such as the Tools and Methods of Competitive Engineering (TMCE) and ASME.
